Home Care Aide                                $18 per hr

Job Description: Zakia's Comfort Home Care is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Homecare aide. As a Home Care aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in entering the home care field with little to no prior experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing meaningful companionship and friendship to senior clients.

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as hands on assistance with personal care and hygiene, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, grocery shopping and other errands.

  • Provide personalized inhome care for Seniors. 

  • Accompany clients to appointments and on errands as needed.

  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors.

  • Document observations and client interactions accurately.

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.

  • ​Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required, but experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.

  • Strong desire to learn and develop caregiving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in improving the lives of others.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time or part-time, entry level -  training provided. 

Annual and ongoing education will be required and provided.

Caregiver Coordinator  $20+ based on experience.

Job Summary:
As a Caregiver Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating our team of caregivers.  You will be the main point of contact for our caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage caregiver schedules to ensure clients receive the appropriate level of care.

  • Handle last-minute schedule changes and emergency caregiver replacements.

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with caregivers regarding their schedules

  • Provide ongoing support and supervision to caregivers, ensuring they deliver high-quality care.

  • Offer guidance and training as needed.

  • ​Other duties as assigned

Assistant Manager      $22 and up

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Zakia to oversee our caregiver coordinator and home care aides, ensuring the highest level of care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ​Conduct caregiver performance evaluations and provide feedback.

  • Collaborate with the team to assess client needs and develop care plans.

  • ​Ensure clients receive appropriate care and support as outlined in their care plans

Training and Supervision:

  • Assist in providing training and orientation for coordinators and home care aides.

  • Offer guidance and supervision to coordinator to ensure they deliver quality care.

  • Conduct regular check-ins with team members and address any issues or concerns.

Documentation and Reporting:​

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

  • Emergency Response:​

    • Collaborate with the coordinators and Zakia to develop and implement emergency protocols.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

  • Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field is a plus.

  • Training will be provided, and annual training will be offered for relevant courses.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-oriented.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
